The Boardman Swim & Dive team recently organized a special swim meet during a tri-meet with Poland and Green High School called "Put a Cap on Cancer". The school asked fans to wear pink to the meet, which included swimmers who wore pink swim caps.
All 36 of Boardman's athletes raised individual donations as well as received fan contributions throughout the event, raising $2,000 for the Joanie Abdu Breast Care Center.
