The Boardman Transportation Department is hosting its first Bus Safety Orientation, a district-wide meet-and-greet designed to help students and families start the school year with confidence.

The event will be held Tuesday, August 25, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Boardman High School Cafeteria.

Students and parents will have the opportunity to meet their bus drivers and transportation aides, ask questions, and get important information about bus safety and bus routes. Transportation staff will also be available to provide assistance with Here Comes the Bus, the district’s bus tracking app.

There will be no formal presentation. Families are welcome to stop by anytime during the event to meet the transportation team, get answers to their questions and make sure they are ready for a safe start to the school year.
