Boardman Students Shine at the Ohio Envirothon State Competition!
Out of more than 300 teams across Ohio, only the top 20 teams compete at the state level. This year, Boardman was represented by not one, but TWO teams at the Ohio State Competition.
After two days of rigorous competition, our teams finished an outstanding 5th and 6th in the entire state of Ohio!
Students demonstrated their knowledge and skills in Ohio Wildlife, Forestry, Soils, Aquatics, and Non-Point Source Pollution.
The competition included both field-based challenges and an oral presentation before a panel of judges. Students stayed at Franciscan University in Steubenville and represented Boardman with excellence, teamwork, and professionalism.
Team members are: Valerie Hoysack, Harper Liller, Azka Awan, Lilia Campbell, Kyrie Heeman, Justin Fitz-Patrick, Louis Algaier, Ethan Datko, Elijah Land, and Jacob Burgos-Perez.
